We are really excited about the new introductions for the 2010-2012-2011 season. And we are pleased to offer this year some old favorites that we have not grown before.

HYBRID RHODODENDRONS Rhododendron is one of the most interesting genus of plants. They are found in almost every state and are tall and short, upright and spreading, evergreen and deciduous, and flower in every color of the rainbow, predominantly in the Spring and early Summer. 	Rhododendron 'Abbey's Re-View' (PJM Hybrid) Floriferous in Spring *AND* Fall with pinkish-lavender flowers, evergreen, thrives in our Southern heat and humidity in part sun to shade, vigorous and with natural pest resistance - what more could you ask for? 	NEW INTRODUCTION Rhododendron 'Brandi'™ (R. 'Scintillation' x white form R. hyperythrum) Light pink buds open white with a large purple blotch. Dense habit with dark green, recurved leaves. Bred for heat and humidity tolerance. Part of the Southgare™ Rhododendron Series from the Southern Living™ Plant Collection and will be introduced in 2011. Zone 7. H 3', W 4'. 	NEW INTRODUCTION Rhododendron 'Breezy'™ (R. 'Janet Blair' x pink form R. hyperythrum) Medium pink buds open to white with prominent maroon blotch. Dense habit with recurved, glossy leaves. Bred for heat and humidity tolerance. Part of the Southgare™ Rhododendron Series from the Southern Living™ Plant Collection and will be introduced in 2011. Zone 7. H 4', W 5'. 	NEW Rhododendron 'Calsap' (R. 'Catagla x R. 'Sappho') Beautiful huge flower truss that is white with a bold, dark purple flare on the upper lobe. Super hardy. Zone 4. H 5'. Blooms mid to late-season. Available in 3G.
	NEW Rhododendron 'Purple Passion' PP9981 ('Purple Splendor' x 'Catalgla') A beautiful dark purple bloom with a white flare on the upper lobe. Leaves are deep green. Zone 5. H 5'. Blooms mid April. Available in 7G.
	NEW INTRODUCTION Rhododendron 'Radiance'™ (R. 'Royal Purple' x R. hyperythrum) Deep lavender buds open to light purple. Medium, dense habit. Bred for heat and humidity tolerance. 	NEW Rhododendron 'Sir Robert Peel' (Rhododendron arboreum hybrid ?) Plants have very long, narrow leaves, with a bloom that is rose-red. A very vigorous grower that blooms early. Zone 6. H 6'. Blooms early. Available in 3G.

DECIDUOUS AZALEAS All azaleas are in the Rhododendron genus. They differ by various morphological traits that are wildly interesting to us as hybridizers, but may or may not be of interest to you. (See our page of Resources here, if you'd like more information.) These are mostly natives or hybrids of natives and they lose their leaves in the Winter.
	NEW'Gibraltar' Knap Hill Hybrid Deciduous azalea. Flame orange flowers with ruffled petals. By far the most heat tolerent and vigorous of the Knap Hill group. Often listed as Exbury. Zone 5. H 6 to 8'. Blooms Mid April. Available in 3G.
	NEW 'Satan' (Knap Hill Hybrid) Deciduous azalea. Flowers are a beautiful scarlet red that bloom in late Spring. Zone 5. H 3 to 6'. Blooms late. Available in 3G.

	NEW Camellia 'Tiny Princess' (C. japonica 'Akebono' x C. fraterna) White shaded delicate pink. Miniature, semi-double to peony form with loose petals and delicate petaloids Slow, spreading growth habit. Zone 7. Medium height. Blooms mid Winter. Available in 3G.
	NEW Camellia 'Lisa Beasley' Miniature rose form with double, pink, fragrant flowers. Upright growth habit. Blooms after March 1. This is a Marvin Jernigan introduction. Zone 7. Tall height. Blooms early Spring. Available in 3G.
	NEW Camellia japonica 'Debutante' Pink, peony flower form with petaloids. Vigorous and bushy habit. Zone 7. Medium height. Blooms mid Winter. Available in 3G.
	NEW Camellia sasanqua 'Cleopatra' Large, semi-double rose flower. The petals are ruffled and the yellow stamens form a bright center. Zone 7. Tall height. Blooms Fall. Available in 3G.
	NEW Camellia sasanqua 'Cotton Candy' Flowers are semi-double with ruffled petals that are clear pink. Zone 7. Medium height. Blooms Fall. Available in 3G.
	NEW Camellia sasanqua 'Kanjiro' Rose-pink shading to rose-red on the edges of the petals. Large flower, semi-double. Zone 7. Tall height. Blooms Fall. Available in 3G.
	NEW Camellia sasanqua 'Leslie Ann' White-tipped, reddish-lavender, large flower is semi-double to peony form with irregular petals.. Zone 7. Medium height. Blooms Fall. Available in 3G.
	NEW Camellia sasanqua 'Martha's Dream' Anemone-form ivory flowers edged in pale pink. Upright to spreading, 6 to 8 feet tall. Zone 7. Tall height. Blooms Fall. Available in 3G.
	NEW Camellia sasanqua 'Mine-No-Yuki' Flowers are large and white, semi-double to peony form. Also known as 'Snow-on-the-Mountain'. Zone 7. Tall height. Blooms Fall. Available in 3G.
	NEW Camellia sasanqua 'Shi-Shi-Gashira' Double flower is bright rose-red, rather formal. The plant is low and compact and is a delight in all seasons. Zone 7. Low height. Blooms Fall. Available in 3G.
	NEW Camellia sasanqua 'Yuletide' Bright reddish-orange blooms have yellow stamens. Petals are broad and rounded. Zone 7. Medium height. Blooms Fall. Available in 3G.

	NEW Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Nana Gracilis' Has thick, dark green foliage. Evergreen. Pyramidal habit, Zone 5. H 4 to 5', W 3 to 4'. Available in 3G.
	NEW Cryptomeria japonica 'Chapel View'™ Beautiful blue-green color is maintained in colder weather. The small needles and branches shoot upwards and toward the center of the plant, naturally creating a full, dense pyramid. Derived from a witch's-broom found in the Sarah P. Duke Gardens, Duke University, it is a Plant Introductions, Inc. introduction and royalties are shared with Duke Gardens. Full sun to part shade, moist but well drained acidic soil recommended. Evergreen. Zone 6. H 5 to 10', W 4 to 8'. Available in 3G.
	NEW Gardenia augusta 'Frostproof'' A fragrant double white flower blooms in Summer. COmpact growth habit with lance-shaped evergreen foliage that is slightly larger than 'Radicans'. Winner of the 2007 Garden Writers Best Plants Award. Zone 7. About 4' by 4'. Available in 3G.

	NEW INTRODUCTION Endless Summer® 'Bella Anna'™ (Hydrangea arborescens 'PIIHA-1' PPAF) This rich magenta-pink mophead is a breakthrough for H. arborescens! Not only is it the first true pink 'Annabelle', but it will re-bloom all Summer. Dark green foliage on strong stems. Full sun to part shade. Zone 4. H 4' to 5', W 3' to 4'. Available in 3G.
	NEW Ilex glabra 'Nigra' Broadleaved evergreen that is 3 feet by 6 feet. Dark green foliage, heaviest fruiter (black) and fullest to the ground of any inkberry. Tolerates shade and moist soils. Georgia native. Georgia Gold Medal Winner. Zone 4. Available in 3G.

	NEW Illicium parviflorum 'Florida Sunshine' This small shrub grow about 5 feet tall. It has golden yellow foliage in the Summer turning bright yellow in the Fall. Zone 6. H to 5'. Available in 3G.
	NEW Kalmia latifolia 'Keepsake' The buds are raspberry-red and open to a solid purplish-burgandy with an attractive white adge. Outstanding foliage with very glossy, deep green leaves. Zone 4. H and W 4 to 5'. Available in 3G.
	NEW Kalmia latifolia 'Minuet' Pale pink buds open to a broad ring of bright cinnamon red in the interior. It is a wonderful dwarf, compact plant that seldom reaches 3 feet high. Zone 4. H and W 2 to 3'. Available in 3G.
	NEW Kalmia latifolia 'Olympic Fire' One of the original red-budded Kalmia selections. Strong red buds turn to strong pink as they open. Good grower. Zone 4. H and W 3 to 4'. Available in 3G.

	NEW Lagerstroemia 'Plum Magic' PPAF Red in bud, opens to very dark pink flowers. Excellent foliage. Zone 4. H and W 3 to 4'. Available in 3G.
	NEW Mahonia x media 'Winter Sun' This medium sized evergreen shrub has leaves that are pinnatwe, glossy, spiny and think. Blooms are a cheerful bright yellow in late Winter to early Spring, followed by berries that turn robin's-egg-blue. Part sun to shade. Zone 7. H 8 to 15, W 8 to 10''. Available in 3G.

	NEW Pieris japonica 'Compacta' Compact plant with small leaves. This plant is a heavy bloomer with white flowers. Zone 5. H to 6'. Available in 3G.
	NEW Pieris japonica 'Katsura' PP15452 Bright glossy leaves with deep wine-red new growth. Blooms late Spring with rose colored racemes. This is the plant that will replace 'Mountain Fire' - better color, better heat tolerence, better grower. A Plant Haven introduction. Zone 6. H to 10', W to 5'. Available in 3G.
	NEW Pieris japonica 'Red Mill' New leaves are bright red, turning mahagony and then dark green. Flowers are white and last longer than 'Mountain Fire'. Zone 5. Available in 3G.
	NEW Pieris japonica 'Valley Valentine' Rich maroon flower buds that open to a deep rose-pink flower. Dark green foliage on a dense, upright plant. Zone 5. H to 4'. Available in 3G.

	NEW Sarcococca confusa Rounded, bushy, shade-loving plant with elliptic, pointed glossy dark green leaves. Blooms early Spring with small with flowers that are very fragraant. Evergreen. Drought and shade tolerent. Zone 7. H and W 3 to 5'. Available in 3G.
	NEW Thuja occidentalis 'Emerald Green' (Arborvitae) Pyramidal arborvitae reaching 10 to 15 feet high with a spread of 3 to 4 feet. Compact tree with bright, lustrous deep green foliage. Excellent screen or windbreak. Zone 3. H 10 to 15', W 3 to 4'. Available in 3G.
